Our matcha is grown in fertile, volcanic soil on organic farmland surrounded by trees far from any urban areas and pollution. Our farms use no chemicals or pesticides which is very important for the quality and taste of our green tea leaves. After harvest, the leaves are ground using granite stones in small quantities throughout the year to ensure the absolute freshest matcha possible. Our products have passed the rigorous inspections of both the USDA and the JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standards), and have been granted with certifications from both. This is an honor that not many other tea companies can boast.
